Lamps starts planning for Cov's return

FRANK LAMPARD is gearing up for life in the Premier League as Coventry try to secure the point they need tonight to make promotion official.

The Sky Blues will take 7,000 fans with them to Ewood Park.

They are hoping to see their side go up in style by beating Blackburn, having missed the chance to do it at home last Saturday when held to a goalless draw by Sheffield Wednesday.

Lampard insists he is focused on making the Sky Blues’ return to the top flight for the first time since 2001 official before turning all his attention to next season.

But the Coventry boss already has half an eye on getting a jump start, particularly on recruitment.
