MANCHESTER UNITED kept the heat on WSL leaders Chelsea with a hard-fought win at Brighton.

Third-place United pulled to within two points of the defending champions as Marc Skinner's side maintained their unbeaten start with a fifth win in seven.

Elisabeth Terland broke the deadlock against her former club on the stroke of halftime, before Jess Park, who missed England's friendlies against Brazil and Australia as a precaution following a head injury, doubled the lead just before the hour.
