A NEW “universal” vaccine could protect folk against the common cold, flu, Covid and allergies, boffs believe.

Experts at Stanford Medicine in the US have created the drug that could be used in a nasal spray.

In tests on mice it gave lungs broad protection for months.

The rodents were immune to illnesses including coronaviruses and pneumonia, as well as allergic reactions to dust mites.
