PHILIPPE CLEMENT praised the mentality of his Rangers side after they staged a late comeback to beat Hearts 2-1.

Clement’s side were trailing to Lawrence Shankland’s fifth-minute header when James Tavernier levelled with a penalty in the final minute of normal time.

The Rangers skipper had earlier missed from the spot but made no mistake after Peter Haring pulled Connor Goldson’s shirt and Danilo headed the winner in the 93rd minute.

The win moved Rangers to within five points of Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic, who drew 0-0 at
