HARRY Potter’s TV reboot is on high alert after bosses were forced to bring in a “serious security team” when stars were hit with chilling threats.

The mega-budget HBO remake has already been rocked by racist trolls making death threats to actor Paapa Essiedu over his casting as Professor Severus Snape.

Show chief Casey Bloys admitted things have turned “scary” because some crackpots take it too far.
