CHOKED full of emotion, Simon Holt was the voice of the people when Sprinter Sacre made his merry way up the final Cheltenham climb in 2016.

"Un De Sceaux is in trouble," the commentator warned the 57,093-strong crowd, as the odds-on favourite tried to muster some extra reserves in front of the new £45million grandstand.

"This is the old Sprinter coming up the Cheltenham hill here. Sprinter Sacre by six or seven lengths ... one of the great racing comebacks. The impossible dream is coming true and he regains his title!"
