Brave Grosjean to return

ROMAIN GROSJEAN will today drive a Formula One car for the first time since the fireball crash that nearly killed him.

The Frenchman's F1 career ended after his high-speed Bahrain smash in November 2020 - the force of impact measuring 67G - which he miraculously survived despite his Haas bursting into flames.

Grosjean managed to escape the cockpit and was pulled from the fire by FIA doctor Ian Roberts.

He suffered burns to the back of his hands and it proved to be his final F1 race. He later moved to the American IndyCar racing series.
