Henderson hurdler to bid for Mares' crown
CONNECTIONS of Marie's have Rock abandoned conquering to ambitions of the staying hurdling division in favour of another crack at the Mares' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
Her previous attempts at three miles have proved fruitless, but the team behind Nicky Henderson's (inset) nine-year-old have always felt they needed further evidence over a staying distance before completely giving up on the Stayers' Hurdle dream.
