Hamilton relishes challenge of rule changes

LEWIS HAMILTON conceded it will be a “huge challenge" to get to grips with his new Ferrari car.

The seven-time Formula One world champion yesterday got behind the wheel of Ferrari’s SF-26, moments after it was unveiled at their base in Maranello, Italy.

He will hope desperately that it proves to be much more competitive than his first red racing machine, in which he failed to record a single Grand Prix podium last year.

But with new engine and aero rules coming into force for the upcoming campaign, no one knows what to expect.

However, Hamilton (left), reinvigorated after a much-needed break over the winter, is optimistic about the opportunity presented to Ferrari.
