ROAST beef fans face forking out more for their favourite meal due to a huge hike in meat prices.

Brits looking forward to Sunday roasts and stews this autumn will be hit by “spiralling” cost increases.
The price of beef has hit a record high as strong American and Chinese demand as well as dwindling global cattle numbers spark a 25% year-on-year price increase in the UK. The cost of vegetables is up by 4%.
