Victory for Brit ace sees him take lead in title race
LANDO NORRIS took pole position in the Formula One title race with a dominant win in Mexico.
But fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton was left seething after the stewards denied him a shot at his first podium as a Ferrari driver.
The seven-time champion qualified third and kept that position at the first corner despite the best efforts of old adversary Max Verstappen.
Norris started on pole and converted it into his first win since before the summer break in a huge boost to his title ambitions.
But it all unravelled for fellow Brit Hamilton just a few laps into the contest when, duelling again with the Dutchman, he went off track and rejoined still in third place.
