Ange gets grouchy as pressure cranks up

ANGE POSTECOGLOU was pricklier than a voodoo doll as he faced his moment of truth at Tottenham - and that old chestnut about always winning a trophy in his second season.

In his two years at Spurs, Big Ange has restored entertaining football to a club blown towards sterility under predecessors Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

But his reign risks being cast as a failure if AZ Alkmaar end Tottenham's Europa League campaign tonight and the club goes more than 17 years without a trophy.

And Postecoglou, needing to overturn a one-goal deficit from last week's first leg in Holland, did not appreciate an opening question about this game being 'win or bust' for his project.
