Plea for action as bogus treatments carried out in loos

BOTOX and Brazilian “butt lift” bandits are offering bogus treatments in public toilets.

Trading standards chiefs say a “Wild West” of treatments, including fat injections and fillers, are being administered by untrained people in places including loos.

The Chartered Trading Standards Institute is urging ministers to act urgently on unregulated and unlicensed practitioners, alongside where they can offer treatments.
