PAT'S BACK ON ATTACK

PATRICK DORGU says Manchester United have returned to the club's attacking heritage and put last season's failings behind them.

Dorgu, 20, was United's standout player in Wednesday's 4-1 win over Bournemouth in Chicago, setting up the opener and scoring the second in an all-action display from the defender.

Signed in January for £25m, Dorgu looks to have cemented his status as Ruben Amorim's first-choice left wing-back with his rampaging runs and attacking threat.

And he is confident United will hit the ground running when the new season starts and surprise those who expect them to fall short again.
