OWEN Cooper has signed up for Soccer Aid — as the youngest player in its history.

The Adolescence star, 16, will be on the pitch alongside a raft of A-list stars for the charity match this May.

It will be the 20th anniversary of the iconic event, which raises cash for Unicef.

Owen said: "I'm incredibly proud to be playing at Soccer Aid. I wasn't even born when the first Soccer Aid took place but I'm a big fan! Becoming the youngest player to take part is a real honour."
