ROB Burrow’s dad says new research into MND gives him hope “one day there will be an end” to the disease.

Geoff Burrow was speaking after neurologist Dr Johnathan Cooper-Knock became the first MND Association Rob Burrow Professor.

The boffin, from Sheffield, said he feels experts are “on the cusp of something exciting” as his work explores how the disease starts.
