Michael Dods’ filly hasn’t won since breaking her maiden more than a year ago but has been creeping closer to a second success and signalled this could be the day with a fine effort last time.

She had a miserable passage on the inside of Beverley’s five furlongs 10 days ago before squeezing her way out and powering to the line.

It’s pushing it to say she would have beaten impressive winner Lady Roxby - who was later whacked with a 9lb rise - but she was clear of the rest and a repeat would take her very close here.
