LUNAR JET (2.35) has been found a good opportunity to fly high again at the grand old age of 11.

Steph Hollinshead’s veteran has won two of his four starts over the 1m2f course and distance of Redcar’s Market Cross Jewellers Handicap.

Admittedly, it’s been two-and-a-half years since his last visit to the winner’s enclosure but he showed he’s not yet ready for his pipe and slippers last time when after getting outpaced for a bit as they kicked, he surged home for a close fifth over course and distance.
