HMS Daring's 3,000 days out of action
A £1BILLION Royal Navy warship has spent more time being repaired and worked on than it has at sea, it has been revealed.
HMS Daring, a Type 45 destroyer, has spent over eight years out of service due to maintenance and equipment issues.
It has totalled more than 3,000 days out of action since its launch in 2006.
