I AM not an avid follower of darts news and views that fly around between tournaments, but even I could not shut out the noise this week around the Premier League selection.

First of all, I understand the frustration of Mike De Decker (inset) at not being selected - and him voicing it - particularly as he is the first player in the 20-year history of the Premier League to miss the cut despite winning a major tournament. It's bound to feel unjust, but I think there are quite a lot of factors at play in the decisions that have been made. Let's get it right
