The Northern Irishman has admitted to being "too judgemental" towards players who left for LIV and suggested the Saudi-backed tour could have a future as an IPL-style cricket equivalent.

His U-turn-coming after Mcllroy called for Ryder Cup eligibility criteria to be changed to allow LIV's Jon Rahm to remain part of Europe's team - has raised eyebrows.
