Canelo should swerve Eubank and plan his exit strategy

CANELO ALVAREZ wants to add another British fighter to his resume in Chris Eubank Jr, it seems.

Yet that fight will do nothing to add to his legacy, other than give him a fight in the UK and spoil fans here with a chance to see one of the sport's modern greats.

But the Mexican, 34, should be winding down now, with 66 fights already under his belt.

His 67th is in the early hours of tomorrow in Saudi Arabia, when he faces IBF super-middle-weight champion William Scull in a bout to bring all the belts together.
