VOLCANOES on Mars could have created conditions for E.T.s to survive.

Scientists have unearthed a region of the Red Planet they believe was volcanically active four billion years ago.

And they reckon Eridania, in the planet's southern hemisphere, could have once had an environment for life to flourish.
