Italian job can settle debts for George

Steve Borthwick's men face probably the best Italian side there has ever been tomorrow in Rome knowing another defeat is unthinkable.

Borthwick (inset) saw his side carry all before them with 12 straight wins before going off the rails spectacularly with two collapses - 31-20 to Scotland and 42-21 to Ireland.

With France to come in the final round, and their tournament already in tatters, a first-ever loss to the Italians would leave England looking at one win in five - their worst Six Nations return.
