CHRISTIAN HORNER could make a sensational Formula One return, with Aston Martin set to axe another team boss.

Ex-Mercedes engines chief Andy Cowell began work as chief executive last October and replaced Mike Krack as team principal ahead of this season.

But he looks set to be removed after disagreements with design guru Adrian Newey.
