Palmer improver set to scoop the Silver

NARIKO (2.25) is one to keep on side in the Ladbrokes Ayr Silver Cup Handicap today.

Hugo Palmer's daughter of Night Of Thunder has won four of her last five starts, including a shade cosily at Hamilton last time. Up 4lb to a mark of 90, that might still be underestimating her abilities.

ΝΑΕΡΟΙΝΤ (1.15) is worth a second look in the Ladbrokes 'Free Bet At Ayr' Handicap.

The gelding trailed in last on his seasonal debut at Doncaster in the Spring Mile but has since been switched to Richard Fahey's stable and fared much better when a close sixth at Southwell last month.

With that run under his belt, he can step forward again and get competitive off a mark of 87.
