Two Royal Lodge Stakes as he tries a mile for the first time.

The Andrew Balding (right) trainee was a decisive winner of the Chesham Stakes over 7f at Royal Ascot, dictating from the front and galloping his rivals into the ground.

He wasn't the fastest in the race, clocking only the third fastest Top Speed, but his final furlong time of 12.8 seconds was quicker than every other runner, illustrating how powerfully he saw the trip out. Next time at Goodwood he found the course too sharp, attempting similar tactics but lacking the turn of foot into the straight.
