Freddie is ready

MARCH ON FREDDIE (8.36) can hit his rivals for six in the first semi-final of the Arena Racing Company Kent Plate over 491m at Central Park tonight.

Winner of 11 of his 15 starts and an Irish Derby-semi-finalist last year, having also won the Nottingham Puppy Classic, David Mullins’ runner produced a power-packed performance in the heats last week and posted a fast time from off the pace.

He is building up to a crack at the Star Sports/TRC English Derby and Central Park’s contours plays to his strengths. King Jackson will again lead him but holding the likes of March On Freddie and Droopys Pivotel will not be easy for the former.

PROPER HEIRESS (8.36), another top-class performer with a great strike-rate and Category One success, is tough to look beyond in the second semi-final.
