TOTTENHAM will have to go without Dominic Solanke for a little bit longer.

The striker is set to undergo surgery on his ankle in a bid to solve the problem that has dogged him since the summer.

Solanke, 28, is yet to start a competitive match this season after suffering the injury while miskicking a ball in training.

However, he appeared to be on the way back after returning to sessions with his Spurs teammates this month. That came after an injection into the England star's ankle during the international break that initially appeared to settle it down.
