EVE'S TRIBUTE TO ‘LEGEND’ UNCLE DICK

TRAINER Eve Johnson Houghton has paid tribute to one of her stable’s most popular horses after he suffered a fatal injury running at his favourite track.

SEASIDE STAR: Uncle Dick won eight times at Brighton

Uncle Dick, a seven-year-old gelding, spent his entire career with the Blewbury trainer in Oxfordshire and ran 58 times for the stable.

He recorded his first success on the all-weather at Wolverhampton in 2021 but from then on there was only one racecourse where he performed consistently well.
