MICHAEL Clifford managed to pass his driving test - despite crashing his car!

The 5 Seconds Of Summer guitarist only got the thumbs up because the examiner wanted a selfie with him.

He admitted: "It's way easier to get a licence in America. I crashed in the test and they still gave me my licence. I think they just wanted a photo! "I took a photo with them and they were like, 'Here's your licence'."

But he claims his bandmate Calum Hood probably shouldn't be trusted behind a wheel:
