PAUL NICHOLLS can make a winning start for the Brits on Day Two of the Cheltenham Festival. The Ditcheat handler has made no secret of the fact he rates NO DRAMA THIS END (1.20) as the best horse to set hoof in his yard since Denman, which is a bold boast.

Unbeaten in a trio of starts over timber at Newbury, Sandown Park and Chepstow, the beast will carry my hopes in the Turners Novices' Hurdle over two miles and five furlongs.

Word has reached me that the horse did a sparkling piece of work on an away day to Lambourn recently.

In last year's renewal of the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle over three miles at this wonderful jamboree, WENDIGO (2.00) finished fifth. Jamie Snowden's creature would have gone close to winning but for clipping heels rounding the final bend, which halted momentum.
