Divorce taboo in family

MY parents like my husband because he’s got money, power and influence.

‘They enjoy being included in holidays and meals out. They think his brashness and rudeness are funny - that it’s just him “being a man’.

But I’m done with his swaggering and arrogance.

I want a divorce. Why should I stay with a man who is incapable of making me smile?
