Fans slam new series as Beeb cuts Wallace & Torode

MASTERCHEF'S new series was branded a "mess" due to heavy edits in the wake of the sacking of hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode.

Producers have slashed the amount of banter and jokes in the series to avoid a backlash.

It means episodes focus more on the competition between contestants.

After the series kicked off yesterday, viewers made their feelings clear.
