IT'S sad to see only a trio of fillies lining up for the William Hill Oaks Trial over an extended mile and three furlongs at Lingfield Park today, and GISELLE (1.15) will be a warm order for Aidan O'Brien, who snared the Cheshire Oaks with Minnie Hauk at Chester on Wednesday.

On his last outing at Plumpton 20 days ago, OUR CHAMP (1.35) ran a cracker when third to Absurde off a mark of 135, so racing off a pound lower ledge the frontrunner can go one better in the Pertemps Network Swinton Handicap Hurdle over two miles at Haydock Park.

Last Sunday, MISTER DAYDREAM (1.50) obliged at Hamilton Park when racing off a perch of 72, so Charlie Johnston must think his improving beast is well-in carrying a 5lb penalty in the William Hill Handicap over 10 furlongs at Lingfield Park.
