EMMERDALE stars were left in pain after shooting high-octane stunts for the ITV soap.

A raft of show favourites filmed crashes in two limos for dramatic scenes that will air next week - and it was extremely testing for them.

Jonny McPherson, who plays Liam, inset, said: "Limos are not big inside especially when you've got a camera in there plus sound stuff and the passengers. It got quite cramped at times.
