Ashley machine gun murder gang guilty

FOUR men have been branded "cowards" by police after being convicted of the machine gun murder of Ashley Dale.

The 28-year-old was shot dead in her own home by gunman James Witham, who forced his way in and sprayed the house with bullets.

Yesterday Witham, 41, was found guilty of murder along with fellow "foot soldier" Joseph Peers, 29, who drove him to the scene.

Niall Barry, 26, and Sean Zeisz, 28, were also convicted of murder after a jury heard they organised and encouraged the killing at Ashley's home in Old Swan, Liverpool, in the early hours of August 21 last year.
