And the rest is history, with the scene from The Seven Year Itch becoming one of film's most iconic. However, the blonde bombshell, who wore two pairs of panties underneath to avoid an X-rated flash, went on to experience a different blowup.

Apparently, baseball-player hubby Joe DiMaggio disapproved of the "exhibitionist" sequence and stormed off set. The couple are said to have had a mighty row back at the hotel and divorced soon after.
