Seven-up puts Boro boss in the mood for success

MICHAEL CARRICK has told Middlesbrough to "feed" off a seven-game winning streak.

Boro have gone from failing to win their first seven Championship games of the season, to victories in their last seven in the league and Carabao Cup.

Carrick celebrated a year in charge at the Riverside this week, having negotiated his first dip as a boss.

In the last 12 months he has overseen 49 games and 27 wins. Boro stormed from 21st place to a play-off spot last season after he took charge, before losing in the semi-final.
