WEATHER presenter Carol Kirkwood’s romantic weekend in Venice was ruined by torrential rain - because she hadn’t checked the forecast.
The 63-year-old BBC star said a wool coat she took was “soggy” by the end of the trip and she had to resort to wearing a plastic poncho around the Italian city.
