Chris sounds battle cry as Blades aim to end jinx

CHRIS WILDER wants to make history with his beloved Sheffield United by winning promotion through the play-offs for the first time.

United have failed in all eight of their previous campaigns and Wilder, who won the Conference play-offs with Oxford United in 2010 (inset), wants to “repay” the Blades by taking them back to the Premier League.

“There's no negativity about us at all,” said the Blades boss, who is in his second spell at Bramall Lane.

“It's got nothing to do with us in terms of past records or whatever.
