Ursu would love a title in country he adores

CONSTANTIN URSU is the perfect antidote to Reform rabble-rouser Nigel Farage.

Right-wing firebrand Farage is on course to beat a path to Downing Street on an anti-immigration ticket.

He and his cronies revel in whipping up sensationalist storms to portray newcomers to Britain as little more than outcasts.

But Moldovan fighter Ursu is flying his adopted flag in the face of that hostile rhetoric.

He moved to these shores on a whim and a prayer and was welcomed with open arms.

And tonight Ursu, 25, will challenge for a British boxing title, having moved to Plymouth seven years ago.

"I was born in Moldova but raised in England," he said.
