22 NEW VIRUSES COULD CONTAMINATE HUMANS
SCIENTISTS have discovered 22 new viruses in bats.
Researchers in China found the bugs in the kidneys of 142 of the creatures in the Yunnan province.
The samples, collected between 2017 and 2021, include two that have sparked "concerns" and resemble the Hendra and Nipah henipaviruses.
