'Barton tweets left me scared'

FOOTBALL pundit Lucy Ward felt "physically scared" after social media "abuse" by Joey Barton, a court heard yesterday.
-
In January 2024, Barton described her and fellow pundit Eni Aluko as the "Fred and Rose West of football commentary".
Asked how she felt about the post, Ms Ward told Liverpool Crown Court: "Intimidated. It was very unpleasant to be the subject of someone's abuse.
