THERE'S sat on a stuffed parrot its perch inside INEOS' plush headquarters in London's Belgravia.

At least there was a few months ago, but knowing what we do know about Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the old bird has probably been given the shove for clogging the place up.

A bit like all those staff at Manchester United, now rendered dispensable and facing up to the bleak prospect of losing their jobs at a time when the cost of living in the UK has rarely been higher.

All because a club which shells out £100,000 a week to a striker in Rasmus Hojlund, who couldn't hit the proverbial barn door, wants to save a few quid.

Also on proud display inside INEOS HQ is a giant compass, boasting some of the do's and don'ts Ratcliffe and his empire drill into staff.

Ones including 'consequence, 'winging it, 'waiting for bad news, 'don't do dumb s*** and 'do the right thing.'
