JOE ROOT has backed Harry Brook to be a World Cup superstar in the Caribbean this summer.
England will name their provisional squad for their T20 title defence on Tuesday.
And after withdrawing from the Test tour to India because of family illness, Brook is set to return to the international fold.
The 25-year-old had a quiet tournament when England triumphed in Australia 18 months ago.
But he already has a 69-ball century under his belt for Yorkshire in the County Championship, and added a second ton of the season against Derbyshire yesterday.
