Riis & Co have long way to go

EMIL RIIS insists it's too early to start talking about a top-six finish despite Bristol City's electric start to the season.

They were third in the Championship table and one of just three unbeaten teams heading into this weekend after their fine start to the campaign under new manager Gerhard Struber.

Riis, a summer signing from Preston, has been a big part of the Robins' impressive start to the new campaign, notching three league goals in five outings.

But even though victory against winless Oxford today could take them into the top two, Riis isn't getting carried away.
