Ange fears 'Season Three' could axe leading man

- Sam Smith

NETFLIX AND KILL!

ANGE POSTECOGLOU joked he could be killed off next season as he awaits crunch talks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

The Spurs boss could still be sacked despite winning the Europa League and telling jubilant fans that season three of a television series is often better than the second.

Postecoglou had promised supporters a trophy in his second season, a habit he developed at his previous clubs.

But he now fears he has spoken too soon about next term, quipping: “I should have thought about it a bit more. Sometimes they kill off the main character in season three. I could be in strife.

“I said before the game that we're building something, and a significant win accelerates that.

“I'm not going to put a limit on what we can achieve.
