FOOTBALL hero Paul Gascoigne has told how he "died" when his heart stopped in rehab.

The England World Cup icon needed an injection through his chest to save him and was in a coma for 18 days.

It came during the "lowest point" in his life as Gazza battled booze addiction in the US.

The former England star was admitted to a clinic in Arizona, where the drama happened.
