'King Andy' heir raising prospect

THERE is a fairly terrible comedy film from the early nineties called King Ralph.

The premise is that as the whole Royal Family gathers for a group photo, a rainstorm and dodgy wiring sees the lot of them electrocuted and killed.

The only living heir to the throne is found to be a deadbeat American lounge singer, played by John Goodman, who is convinced to become King.

So far so daft. But surely nothing as ridiculous could happen in real life?

Well you'd be wrong.
